Appreciation
Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir, Thane ( SAYK ) started its journey in 1965. It Completed Diamond Jubilee Year with a MIssion " Basic Yoga Course For All At No Charge. ".
Focusing on Vision " Towards A Healthier And Peaceful World Through Yoga ", SAYK have 97 branches all over the world out of which 8 are abroad.
The teachers follow the Trisutri of " Sadhana , Seva, Satsang " given by Hathayogi Nikam Guruji.
Through this path, SAYK has received Appreciation from the Govt Of India, The Parliament Of Australia, several reknown institutes and even leading News Papaers, all of whom have taken congnizance of their work.

On 15th August 2025, SAYK was honoured by The Govt. Of India, SAYK received an invitation to attend The Independence Day celebration at The Red Fort, New Delhi.
Yoga Vidya Niketan felicitated Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir, Thane as " Yoga Mitra " award for 2025 by Padmashri Nimbalkar Guruji.
The Insttute Of Company Secretaries Of India, CCGRT, Mumbai, felicitated in Dec 2024 Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir, Thane, CBD Belapur Branch for conducting 25 Yoga Awareness Programmes for their student 4 years.
Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd.( RCF) felicited Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir , Alibaug branch for teaching yoga to their staff which improved their efficiency to work.

On this auspiciious occasion Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir was felicited by Govt.of Maharashtra honoring Best of India- BIZ Award and Shri Ramchandra Surve Sir , Secretary of SAYK by AYUSH Ratna Award.
On 21 to 23 Dec 2022, Megha Mumbai World Expo was organised by Ayush Mantralay, Govt Of India in Mumbai. Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir was honoured with " Best Of India Biz Award “ for the work done in Expo.
Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir , Alibaug branch started "covid Help Line " between 3-5-21 to 10-8-21
and did counselling for 8532 people .Raigad Prabodhini Nyas,Alibaug felicited SAYK for their dedicated work.
Bharat Vikas Parishad awarded "Seva Puraskar" to Smt Madhavi Kulkarni, head of Barshi branch. She devoted her life for improvement in womens health through Yoga.
During the second wave of Kovid-19, as suggested by Raigad District Collector, for the Covid patient helpline, during the period of three months from 3rd May to 10th August 2021, around 8532 patients were counseled by the Kutir's teachers.
Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir was felicitated as a “Corona Warrior “ by The Governor Of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari . This award was accepted by Assistant Secretary of Kutir, Mr.Sunil Kulkarni.
From 2016 to 2019, Kutir played an important role in the Mahaarogya Shibir campaign of The Government Of Maharashtra. Mahaarogya camps were conducted at Pune on 6th August and Sambhajinagar on 13th August, taking note of the work of Kutir, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis felicitated with Momento to the yoga teachers who conducted the camp . MLA Girish Mahajan has played a major role in implementing these health camps.
